Proud Venezuelan Jose Lopez was 17 when he signed a professional contract with the Houston Astros, one of the biggest teams in Major League Baseball. Whilst making his way up through the organisation, he suffered a stroke which required brain surgery, taking him out of the professional game.

20 years later, Jose has used his passion for baseball to launch a team on the south coast of England.

This documentary explores lives and bonds of the first and second generation migrants who are using baseball to build a new home in the UK.
